As the State of Texas continues to raise the standards of education, we are proud that our students and teachers in Texas City ISD are working hard to meet and exceed those standards.     🎥🌟 Students Who Shine: Meet Carlos Salas 🌟🎥 Carlos Salas, a senior at the Industrial Trades Center, is setting a new standard for success in the pipefitting program! 💪⚙️ In just two years, Carlos has mastered Tig welding pipe—a skill that usually takes journeyman pipe welders 5-10 years to achieve. His exceptional focus, drive, and talent have caught the attention of the Oil and Gas Industry, with contractors already eyeing him for job offers after graduation! 🔥 This is a historic achievement for Texas City—never before has a high school senior reached this level of success in pipe welding at ITC!
