Had a great visit and tour of the Texas Technical Trade School in Houston today. Small classes Hands on learning Day and evening classes Grants and scholarships available They have a 200 hour fast track program to prepare for residential and commercial as an apprentice electrician. Big shoutout to some of our KIPP Connect Class of 2024 for graduating from Texas Technical Trade School thanks to BridgeYear 's Certification Cohort program! Many of these students had aspirations to get straight into the workforce, but thanks to BridgeYear's program, they are now certified in their field of choice and many have been hired by employers. Also, big thanks to Jamira Smith for assisting me with our students to ensure they took advantage of this great opportunity.
