These area Girl Scouts have the biggest hearts! We are so thankful to Troop 1709 from Sherman and Troop 3698 from Howe for putting together Halloween treat bags for our patients. They are packed with goodies such as hand sanitizer, lip balm, mini combs, and tissues. What a sweet treat for our hospitalized patients this Halloween!

Our Chief Operating Officer Jason Madsen served as the Honorary Team Captain in the football game this past Friday night when the Anna Coyotes came to Munson Stadium to take on the Denison Yellow Jackets. It was a competitive game between the two schools and Jason did a great job as he tossed the coin. We appreciate the opportunity to serve both of these outstanding communities and all those around them!

Bring your little ones to the TMC Teddy Bear Clinic! Join us for a fun and educational event where kids can bring their favorite stuffed animal for a “check-up”! It's a great way to learn about what happens when you need medical care. Everyone is welcome, but this event is specifically geared for those ages 2 and up. Let us know you're coming by registering online at bit.ly/TMCTeddyBearClinic Here are some of the fun activities we have planned: 🧸 Teddy bear check-ups by various medical departments 🧸 First aid safety seminar taught by our trauma department 🧸 Station for kids to decorate cards for TMC patients

TMC Breast Care Center received the Business Partner of the Year Award from Women Rock Inc at their annual fundraiser Bras for A Cause. We gratefully accept this award on behalf of our incredible team of imaging specialists and caregivers who work each day to help detect breast cancer and other breast health issues. And we are proud to support Women Rock in their mission to ensure local women have access and the resources necessary to find breast cancer at its earliest, most treatable stage. #BreastCancerAwareness If you haven't had your annual mammogram, don't delay. Members of our Trauma Services Team have been educating the staff at several area schools about the importance of knowing how to "Stop the Bleed®". Our team provides a formal presentation that is followed by hands-on practice of applying direct pressure, packing a wound, and using a tourniquet to stop bleeding. We hope that our area educators never have to use these skills, but now they're ready for them! This photo was taken during a recent presentation with Pottsboro ISD.

Shiver me timbers! 🏴☠️ ⚔️ 🌴 🦜 ⚓ We held our annual NICU Reunion this past weekend where we welcomed past NICU patients and their families back to the hospital! Our fun and creative NICU team set up games and activities, and we got to visit with our now "not so little" patients. It was great to see everyone!

We're in the Halloween spirit here at TMC and that was on full display last night as The VOICE Committee hosted a Trunk or Treat for our employees and their families! We continue to be amazed at the creativity of our teams. From walking the plank to visiting the zoo animals, it was a night of fun for all! We want to give a huge shoutout to each department that participated in this family-fun event!
