Welcome to the Board, Will Dahlstrom! 2025 is going to be another rocking year for TEXSAR.

On this Veterans Day, we would like to honor and thank all veterans who have served. We are especially proud and grateful for the 433 volunteers who have served their country and also chosen to serve through TEXSAR over the last 20 years. Today, we acknowledge the 82 volunteers currently on our team who have served in or continue to serve in the following branches: 🔴U.S. Air Force ⚪️U.S. Coast Guard 🔵U.S. Army 🔴U.S. Marine Corps ⚪️U.S. Navy 🔵Texas State Guard 🔴Missouri Army National Guard ⚪️National Guard 🔴Norwegian Civil Defense Thank you to each and every one of you for your services and for continuing to serve your communities throughout this great state.

You may have seen the note that we did not make it to the Land Rover finalist stage, and that we thanked everyone for their support. We jumped out too soon with the announcement, so we pulled the message down, but it is okay to say it officially now. :-) Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone who voted, encouraged others to post, and cheered us on. A lot of good came from the process. We appreciate you!

October 28th was National First Responders Day and Academy Sports + Outdoors invited TEXSAR representatives to their store in Sunset Valley, TX as a way to celebrate first responders, from those who take the calls of those in need to those who work on the scene of emergencies and disasters. Along with kudos, Academy presented TEXSAR volunteers and the organization with gift cards. Thank you, Academy!

Oct. 28 is National First Responders Day. TEXSAR: Texas Search and Rescue celebrates all first responders, including our many volunteers, who run into conditions that most people run away from. Much respect for all of you. Thank you.
