“We really believe that playing sports changes lives, and it can have a tremendous impact on child development,” shares TGA Northern Nassau owner, Dr. Moronke Oshin-Martin, in a recent interview with LongIsland.com “I grew up playing just about every sport out there, and my children grew up the same way, having been exposed to a variety of sports,” Dr. Oshin-Martin said. “There are some sports you go into where the training is so harsh and difficult that it turns you off. After spending the first 14 years of his career in corporate America, Giorgio LaMarca wanted to take his passion for golf and sports in general to his local community, opening a franchise with TGA of North Central NJ in 2024. As a father of two toddler boys, Giorgio's lightbulb moment was watching his 2.5-year-old son, Vincent, swing repeatedly in his backyard in Morris County, NJ. Seeing his face light up as he improved day after day was such a proud moment, and Giorgio knew he had finally found something that combined his two passions in life: Sports and working with children. Giorgio lives in Morris County, NJ with his wife Melissa, and two sons, Giovanni and Vincent.
