Last year, we decided to take a big swing and celebrate Barstool Nashville's one-year anniversary in a memorable way. We shut down 2nd Ave South, organized a wide perimeter to fit thousands of people, constructed a huge festival stage, booked a great music lineup, and made sure to have plenty of options for drink and food (the Pardon My Cheesesteak food truck was a hit, obviously). It turned out to be one of the best parties of the summer in Music City. Due to the high demand and our bar's growing popularity as a top destination in the area, this year we're expanding the format by creating a two-day event — double the music, double the energy. People behind *any* brand can come up with an identity statement when answering this question: "How do we see ourselves?" People behind *good* brands are 1) smart enough to ask and 2) able to answer another question: "How do others see us?" People behind the *best* brands have the same answer to both questions. This is why nailing your brand's identity is really, really hard. We're obsessed with this thought process at Stella Blue Coffee. During the KeHE Summer Show in Phoenix two weeks ago, we set out to boost brand awareness, generate new sales leads, spend time networking with potential customers, and analyze other unrelated products. Check, check, check, check. But, it turns out, the best part was being afforded yet another opportunity to gain more affirmation that how we see ourselves is also how others see us. Countless people — Barstool fans, Big Cat fans, coffee drinkers, people who weren't too familiar with Barstool, people who don't even drink coffee, you name it — approached us with excitement about our identity/mission, the same exact way we see it: Great purpose through great coffee. We're excited that so many people continuously make Stella Blue Coffee a part of their morning routines, and we're proud that a portion of proceeds from every purchase benefits PAWS Chicago, which finds homes for 5,000+ dogs and cats every year and is home to the nation’s largest medical hospital for homeless pets.
