Meet Jaya Mallik: An experienced DEIB practitioner and educator, Jaya Mallik centers her practice on community engagement, data-informed insights, and empowering others to lead and innovate. She is especially passionate about ensuring equal access and opportunities for women of color and other underrepresented identities. Prior to launching Jaya Mallik Coaching & Consulting, Jaya led DEI efforts at Meta, Amazon, and Tandem Diabetes Care with a focus on the tech industry. As an expert in Learning & Development and K-12 education, Jaya is well-versed in teaching complex concepts to diverse audiences to ensure comprehension, connection, and action. Jaya believes in a modern education for everyone — free from perfectionism, shame, or blame. We’re thrilled to welcome Michelle Ji-Yeun Kim as our new Co-Brand Ambassador for San Francisco! She’ll be joining forces with Samantha S. Low, LEED AP to continue building an inspiring and impactful community. Michelle Ji-Yeun Kim is a tech executive with 15+ years of experience across go-to-market roles in Sales, Marketing, Program Management, and Operations at companies such as Zendesk, LinkedIn, Culture Amp, and Seagate. In her free time, Michelle is a passionate advocate of advancing women in tech leadership roles. In her podcast, Breaking the Tech Ceiling, she interviews women executives about strategies and tactics to advance into VP and C-level go-to-market positions. Michelle is also a Board Member of the non-profit Women in Revenue and acts as Committee Chair for the Speaker’s Program. She is an advisor to startups and active in communities such as Women In Sales Everywhere, Clari’s Coaching program, and The Authentic Asian.
