    Winning the AI marathon Our Gen AI platform Pencil ✏️ doesn’t just create an image or video. It creates finished ads from customer insight through to media, plugging directly into the ad accounts of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. Our founder and CEO David Jones sits down with Bloomberg NewsKatie Greifeld: “Pencil has been in market since 2018 and we’ve now made one million ads across 5,000 brands and spent $1bn of media through the platform. That allows us to predict which ads will work better,” he explains. “And we’ve seen over that time that on average we can double the performance in terms of return on adspend, we can create content 10x faster and at least 50% cheaper.” #GenAI #Brandtech #AIpowered #FutureofAI

    One of the most extraordinarily inspiring achievements of the recent Paris Olympics 🇫🇷 was the first ever medal won by an athlete from the International Olympic Committee – IOC Refugee Team - boxer Cindy Ngamba 🥊 🥉. Our Group company Gravity Road had the privilege of working with the IOC to create the #1in100million campaign to celebrate Team Refugee and raise awareness - including this brilliant AI-illustrated film, in which Ngamba is one of the athletes taking center stage. It was created with the help of Syrian refugee, author and illustrator Engy Jarrouj, then at Framestore. 📣 One of the aims of the campaign - and a driving force for Gravity Road - was to make them everybody's second team, if not their first. And our team on the ground in Paris certainly felt the love. "Despite facing outrageous odds, these athletes have succeeded in reaching the starting line, representing one of over 100 million refugees worldwide," says Mark Eaves, co-founder of Gravity Road. 🌍 And as the IOC says, Ngamba’s bronze medal represents a historic achievement, an inspiration for refugee athletes and a strong symbol of hope for all displaced people worldwide. “Cindy has demonstrated to the world what refugees can achieve; she has been an inspiration to a population of more than 120 million people and given light to our stories, our journeys. For that we are forever grateful,” says the team’s Chef de Mission Masomah ALI ZADA 💫 . Now best of luck to the International Paralympic Committee Refugee Team!

    Gen AI case study: What should I eat tonight? 🍕 Brandtech Group’s global data company fifty-five recently used Gen AI to solve this age-old question for customers of French grocery delivery app Chronodrive. In less than 30 days! 🌟 📸 Using Google’s then-two-weeks-old Gemini LLM - and partnering with AI-focused retail solutions start-up Mealz for the front end - the Fifty-five team created an add-on for the app to allow photo uploads of dishes (eg from a restaurant or social media) to generate a recipe and list the ingredients for purchase; as well as photo uploads of ingredients (such as the contents of your fridge) to produce suggested recipes and images of the final dish. 💥 Within 30 days, they had a fully functional solution - which is now in wider testing - fully utilizing Gemini’s abilities to identify images, generate text and pictures, translate and format data into JSON for easy transfer.
