For the past two years, The Center For Water Security and Cooperation has had the privilege of working closely with IAPMO and ANSI - American National Standards Institute, with support from USAID, to understand whether the national laws of Ghana, Uganda, and Zambia encourage the realization of the human rights to water and sanitation and the adoption of standards that create a safe and reliable marketplace for WASH products. Join us on February 21st at 8AM ET to learn more about what we found and ask questions! Working to advance water security by understanding, evaluating and innovating in water law and governance worldwide.
About us
Our Mission is to advance water security and cultivate cooperation by building a unified body of laws, policies, practices and standards that ensure the availability of water for current and future generations, and a peaceful, stable and vibrant global society. We work to: 1. Unite the approach to water management, protection, and governance around the concept of water security. 2. Build a body of laws that governs, manages, and protects water in context. 3. Develop laws and mechanisms to facilitate cooperation and foster diplomacy. 4. Raise awareness, increase engagement and make the law accessible.
