Thank you, Christopher Rinn, for joining us in celebrating the incredible work of our Community Doula Learning Collaborative of Essex County! This program trains doulas to provide culturally responsive care and vital support before, during, and after childbirth—helping to improve maternal health outcomes across the community. #vnahg #cfhi Visiting Nurse Association Health Group
This morning, I spent time with Sherrell and Saundra, two incredible community doulas with our Community Doula Learning Collaborative of Essex County. Coordinated by our Children and Family Health Institute and funded by The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey, this program has trained 13 doulas to provide culturally competent care and essential support before, during, and after childbirth. Hearing their experiences firsthand reinforced just how critical this work is. Their passion and dedication are transforming maternal healthcare in New Jersey, ensuring every mother gets the care and dignity she deserves. To all of the doulas in this program: thank you for the work you do! #MaternalHealth #CommunityDoulas #VNAHealthGroup Visiting Nurse Association Health Group State of New Jersey

We are truly touched by positive testimonials from families who've benefited from our New Jersey Integrated Care for Kids (NJInCK) program. This program improves pediatric care by focusing on prevention, early identification, and treatment of complex health issues for NJ FamilyCare children in Monmouth and Ocean counties from birth to age 20. These stories highlight the importance of our integrated care approach, which coordinates efforts among families, medical professionals, community organizations, and schools to enhance children's outcomes.
