We’re excited to introduce People of TDF, a new series celebrating the incredible individuals who make The Dallas Foundation what it is. Gwen Jackson Campbell first joined our organization as an administrative assistant, warmly welcoming every guest who walked through our doors. Now, as our Accounts Payable Specialist, she plays a crucial role on the finance team—ensuring payments are processed smoothly and managing day-to-day operations with care and precision. With a passion for education and social services, Gwen’s dedication makes her an essential part of our organization’s legacy. We’re grateful for her hard work and the heart she brings to our mission! #PeopleOfTDF #TheDallasFoundation #CommunityImpact

The Dallas Foundation has been a proud partner of Bachman Lake Together since its inception, working to create lasting change in early childhood education in Dallas’ 75220 zip code. In 2021, a $50,000 grant, funded by The Dallas Foundation, helped Bachman Lake Together launch a video pilot series, empowering parents with simple, effective ways to engage their children in early learning. Strong partnerships drive meaningful progress, and together, we’re building a brighter future for Dallas’ youngest learners. Accelerating Action, indeed! What a powerful group of women philanthropists making an impact in their communities.
We celebrated International Women’s Day and collective giving with our local giving circle partners at “Accelerate Action: A Celebration of Women, Unity & Impact!” CFT's Wayne White, The Dallas Foundation’s Julie Diaz, and Texas Women's Foundation’s Karen Hughes White discussed philanthropy as part of a panel moderated by the incredible Kim Cummings, SPHR, SCP, CDE®. Leaders from DFW Hispanic 100, Orchid Giving Circle, The Village Giving Circle, and HERitage Giving Fund shared about creating lasting change through united giving. CFT Fundholder and Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy alumnus Dylan M. Rafaty, MADR, CDP (deaf/HoH) closed the event with words of inspiration. Collaboration truly matters. We are energized by these local leaders and the impact we're making together! #AccelerateAction, #InternationalWomensDay2025, #WomenSupportingWomen, #CelebratingWomen, #UnityInAction, Tiffany Hendra, ISP Creative

We're honored to spotlight Bradie James, former Dallas Cowboys linebacker and current Dallas Foundation fundholder, for his dedication to breast cancer prevention. Recently, the NFL Foundation awarded him a 2024 NFL Player Matching Grant, directing $5,000 to BarbaraCares’ Mammograms Matter Health Initiative. This grant expands mammogram screenings, reaches new North Texas communities, and enhances impact tracking through advanced data analytics. Through the Bradie James Foundation 56, which he established at The Dallas Foundation in 2007, he has mobilized over half a million dollars for breast cancer screenings and mobile mammography units in Texas and Louisiana. Congratulations, Bradie, on this well-deserved recognition and your unwavering commitment to the fight against breast cancer!
