As we celebrate International Housekeepers Week, we are thrilled to spotlight our exceptional Director of Housekeeping, Glenda Aparicio. With over 7 years of experience in housekeeping leadership, Glenda’s journey in the industry has been both impressive and inspiring. Starting her career as a Housekeeping Training Manager at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Glenda dove headfirst into the role - cleaning rooms and learning the intricacies of the department. She then advanced to the Golden Nugget, where she played a key role in restructuring the housekeeping department and got promoted to Director of Housekeeping! After the pandemic, Glenda moved to South Florida, managing 700 rooms across seven properties. During her time there, she won two awards for Best Hospitality and Most Engaged Team. Glenda then took her talents to Sandusky, Ohio, where she earned an award for Most Improved Housekeeping Score. Returning to South Florida, Glenda chose to join The Diplomat Family. She is especially inspired by the hardworking individuals on her team, many of whom come from diverse and fascinating backgrounds.
