    This year's eComm Summit with Cleveland Research Company was one of the best! It was an action packed day of sessions covering everything from macro retail trends to deep dives on AMC.     Our team attended Walmart's second-annual Inspire event in Bentonville yesterday. Over 1,200 attendees gathered to explore the future of retail analytics and hear how data-driven strategies are reshaping the industry.   The event's headline announcement:   ▪️Walmart Luminate gets a new spark: In a bold move, Walmart announced the rebranding of its integrated insights ecosystem. Starting next year, Walmart Luminate will become "Scintilla" – a Latin term for "spark" that captures how even the tiniest data point can ignite game-changing business decisions. ▪️Global expansion on the horizon: With the Scintilla rebrand, Walmart Data Ventures is gearing up for international growth. Already live in Mexico, the platform is set to launch in Canada this month, with more markets likely in the pipeline. ▪️Impressive growth stats: Walmart Data Ventures shared some eye-opening figures, including a 173% year-over-year increase in their client base and a perfect 100% retention rate for suppliers up for renewal.   See the full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gUj_jntc   Want to learn more about Scintilla's future potential?     Costco reported their fiscal Q4 results on Thursday, with slight growth in year-over-year net sales and some slowdown in key metrics like eCommerce growth, membership income, and core gross margins. The quarter's highlight was the announcement of a long-awaited membership fee increase (the first in 7 years!)     Last week our team joined 4,000+ sellers at Amazon Accelerate in Seattle. This conference has boomed since 2020, mirroring 3P sales’ rise to ~60% of Amazon’s total. We mingled with sellers, agencies, and clients and even saw Martha Stewart prove she’s as savvy online as in the kitchen 👩🍳 Missed it? Here are our top takeaways: ▪️Enhanced supply chain tools: Amazon introduced logistics enhancements, including multi-channel fulfillment, ‘Supply Chain by Amazon’ and ‘Buy with Prime.' These tools enable sellers (for a fee) to leverage Amazon's capabilities across platforms like TikTok and Shopify. ▪️Complexity for sellers: Attendees walked away feeling energized by Amazon’s investments in their Marketplace, and equally struggling for continuity across each of the different services and solutions to determine which apply to their business, how much they cost, and how they work together. ▪️Generative AI focus: The conference emphasized AI applications, including the beta launch of 'Project Amelia' in Seller Central. Early adoption of these AI tools may provide sellers with long-term advantages in the marketplace. Of the new features and tools announced at Accelerate, we are most excited about the enhanced shopper behavior analytics and expanded access to AMC for merchants running sponsored ads.
