  • It’s Black History Month! Join us in recognizing the impact of our Give Back Grant Program, which supports breast cancer survivors who are women of color. Check out our founder Shaney jo Darden post highlighting the program’s success and the meaningful change it has created. This initiative is about more than just giving back—it’s about fostering important conversations on how breast cancer affects communities differently. • The Vans Warped Tour played a pivotal role in shaping us as a nonprofit organization. It was where we first learned how to authentically engage with young people, offering them meaningful support and empowering them to become lifelong advocates for our cause. We are thrilled to be part of this incredible event once again this year! A heartfelt thank you to Kevin Lyman for staying true to the tour's roots and for inviting us back to continue this important work. #NonprofitImpact #VansWarpedTour #YouthEngagement

  • 🌟 Empowering Communities Through Awareness and Action 🌟 We’re thrilled to spotlight the incredible journey of Nena Anderson, a passionate KAB advocate for creative initiatives and community impact, as featured in her recent interview with SD Voyager. • It's our 25th Anniversary! 🎂

✨ The Origin Story of Keep A Breast ✨ Once upon a time, there were two girls who loved art, fashion, and community. We started this thing called MODART—basically just a big art party for all our friends, featuring their incredible talents. We loved bringing people together and shining a light on their creativity. 🌟 A few years later, some of those friends invited us to bring an art show to their annual event, Boarding For Breast Cancer. At the time, one of the artists we knew was going through breast cancer, so we said, “Yeah, sure! We’ll do it. Can you cover our hotel when we get there?” 😜 We gathered the “girls,” plastered them up, and asked our MODART artists to paint them. And just like that, Keep A Breast was born! 🎨💕 Since 2000, we’ve been bringing art, awareness, and community together—and we’re still going strong! Thanks for being part of the journey, homies!✌️ It's our 25th anniversary! 🎂 The Keep A Breast Foundation Lisa Hudson Tina Basich Mona Mukherjea-Gehrig #theoriginalsince2000 #keepabreast #iloveboobies #breastcancerprevention #breastcancerearlydetection #breastcast #breastcastart
