George Bettany started slowing down, running at a 2/10 pace and learned to love running again AND run further and faster than ever before 🏃♂️ Through MARA he now brings a mindful, social approach to running to groups in Lichfield, Stone & Stoke 🙌🏼 A lot of people HATE running because they’re so in their head. The MARA approach teaches you to slow down and enjoy the process ✅

A lovely Monday morning 🌅 The Knot featured in the “i” newspaper 🗞️ (print and online) This is the creative county and this is a city built on creativity. So you’ll get this. You make something. You put love into it. You put time into it. It could be a pot, a vase, a restaurant, a dish, a piece of music, a design, a new independent newspaper. And you get some sales, some feedback, but in the dark of the night you think; “why are we doing this?” “Will this ever work?” “Will this ever pay the bills?” And then the smallest thing happens, like a write up in a publication or a “thank you” or a customer. And you get that warm glow in your heart. It is worth it. People are watching. People do care. I know that many of you understand this. The Knot is here to shine a light on all of you. To raise Stoke & Staffordshire up. I promise you we’ll do that. Today it was nice to have a bit of light shine on us with a small and meaningful mention in the i 🔦 Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire - keep shining bright. They don’t see us yet. But they will 🔥
