I am so grateful for our amazing partners like Ginkgo Residential who say YES to being part of the solution to homelessness.
To create a lasting impact, you need early adopters who take a chance and pave the way. Ginkgo Residential was our very first housing partner in Charlotte, and our first partner in our recent expansion to a second market. Together, we’ve unlocked doors for over 350 residents in Charlotte and Raleigh. Learn more about our game-changing model: https://lnkd.in/es8SMdxc

MYTH: Mental health is a leading driver of homelessness. FACT: While mental health can lead to homelessness for some, homelessness itself creates mental health challenges that being housed can reduce without treatment. In The California Statewide Study of People Experiencing Homelessness, Dr. Margot Kushel found that when you house people depression gets better, even without treatment.

What does it mean to be a game changer? At Lotus, we’re redefining how to tackle the “unsolvability” of homelessness. By bringing together the private, philanthropic, and nonprofit sectors, we’re opening doors to market-rate, mixed-income housing—without relying on government funds. Through our partnership of unexpected allies, we’re pioneering a fresh approach to an age-old challenge. Curious about our progress?
