THE MEDICAL TEAM Hospice is also thrilled to welcome Dr. Jeffrey Provizer as our new Medical Director in Livonia. Dr. Jeffrey Provizer was born and raised in the Detroit area and is a graduate of Michigan State University. He obtained his medical degree in Iowa at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and did his residency at St. John Oakland Hospital (now Ascension) and served as the vice chairman of the department of family medicine there for some time. Dr. Provizer has over 25 years of experience in family medicine and is board-certified. He is well respected within the Detroit medical community, has worked closely with multiple hospice organizations for many years, and just recently has been the medical Director of another local hospice. Dr. Provizer is interested in and has spent a good portion of his career working with the geriatric population and in chronic care of medically complex patients. He finds his hospice work the most rewarding of what he does professionally. Join us in helping us welcome Dr. Provizer to THE MEDICAL TEAM!

With her Doctor of Medicine from Florida State University, Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, and over a decade of experience as a physician, Dr. Lamb brings compassion and individualization to her patient care. She enjoys working with patients during this sensitive time in life both in hospice and in her current practice as an ER physician in Leesburg. Dr. Lamb has a passion for people who are aging, especially those living with dementia, and enjoys speaking to promote personalized and goal-oriented care. She also serves on the Executive Committee for the state of Virginia’s POLST Collaborative. Join us in welcoming her to our team!
