Innovation doesn’t come down to a choice between human intelligence and AI. Instead, it’s about harnessing the best of both. As we move forward, those who embrace this blend will lead the way in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
Excited to share insights from my experience at the recent Innovation Lab summit at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where we explored the powerful convergence of human and synthetic intelligence in open innovation. One presentation by Shannon Heald from the University of Chicago really stood out. Her work on 'synthetic crowds'—AI-driven models designed to simulate human behavior—opened my eyes to the potential for these digital agents to scale ideas quickly and affordably, bringing fresh perspectives to the innovation process. AI can now collaborate with human crowds, accelerating the innovation cycle and providing predictive insights and it underscores the incredible potential of a hybrid model. It’s not about choosing between human and AI, but about harnessing the strengths of both. As we move forward, organizations willing to embrace this blend of human creativity and AI-driven efficiency will be at the forefront of innovation. Looking forward to seeing how this hybrid approach continues to redefine the boundaries of what's possible! #innovation #crowdsourcing #openinnovation #opentalent #artificialintelligence #AI #syntheticdrowds #MIT #futureofwork #openassembly // Forbes Read more: https://lnkd.in/girCM4Rr
