  • “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” - Aesop. Yesterday, our hearts were deeply moved during our visit to De Marillac Centre, a place that embodies hope for over 50 children who once faced life on the streets. This home not only shelters and protects these young souls but also equips them with the gift of education, guiding them towards a future of promise and opportunity. As we spent time with the children, sharing smiles, laughter, stories, and games, we witnessed firsthand the boundless power of love and community. It was not just about giving; it was about connecting, about reminding them that they are seen, valued, and cherished. Our message was simple yet profound: FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE. These words, though often spoken, became tangible through every shared moment and heartfelt interaction. We left De Marillac Centre with full hearts and a renewed belief that charity is not just about what we give, but about the compassion and presence we share. As Mother Teresa once said, “It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.” #GivingIsLiving #faith #Hope #Love

  • From the Streets to Safety: Building Hope and Love for Every Child’s Future On November 16, 2024, we will be visiting De Marillac Center, Hope for Street Children, an inspiring organization dedicated to caring for children in need. This visit is more than just a stop—it’s an opportunity to share our message of faith, hope, and love with these remarkable young people, reminding them that they are valued and supported. About De Marillac Center: This non-governmental and non-profit organization, founded by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in Nigeria, provides a safe and nurturing environment for street children. Currently, 50 children between the ages of 8 and 17 call this place their home. We are humbled and excited to contribute, however small, to bring joy and warmth to their lives. Together, let’s work towards creating a brighter future for those who need it most. So many gods, so many creeds, So many paths that wind and wind, While just the art of being kind Is all the sad world needs        - Ella Wheeler Wilcox #CommunitySupport #OrphanageOutreach #HopeAndLove #MakingADifference #FaithHopeAndLove
