Congratulations to our basketball coach Jay Blossom for his induction into the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame. 🏀👏 In his first year as the Boys’ Basketball coach, Jay led the Panthers to a second-place finish in the Missouri Class 2 State, the team’s first time playing in a conference championship since 1971. Coach Blossom was inducted into the Missouri Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2015 and will be inducted into the Weber Groves Athletic Hall of Fame later this month, recognizing his achievements as former head basketball coach at Webster Groves High School. In 2022, he was recognized by the National High School Basketball Association as winner of the John Wooden Legacy Award. Principia School is grateful for Coach Blossom’s dedication to his craft and looks forward to cheering him on as he accomplishes much more. He's looking forward to the official induction ceremony tonight where he will be recognized and celebrated at @TheMissouriAthleticClub.

Check out our new Idea Lab. 💡 With the goal of bolstering creativity and innovation, this #makerspace includes 3D printers, prototyping workbenches, and a hot wire foam cutter. We expect to add a laser cutter/engraver this fall. Makerspaces support hands-on learning in #STEM, #science and #tech, while honing critical thinking skills.
