Recently, we served those experiencing #homelessness at The Samaritan Inn. What we provide goes beyond a haircut and a facial. It’s an act of love to let those in need know that they too matter. They are loved and supported while going through life’s challenges. The haircuts and facials will also allow individuals to show up in confidence and dignity for job interviews- as they rebuilt their lives. This past weekend, we had the immense joy of celebrating the winners of the Beauty In Bloom Mother's Day Makeover Giveaway! JCPenney and Project Beauty teamed up to pamper some incredible single moms with a day of makeovers, shopping, and beautiful portraits. 🌸✨ These resilient women, who tirelessly give their all every single day, finally had a chance to sit back, relax, and feel cherished. From stunning makeovers that brought out their radiant beauty, to shopping sprees filled with laughter and excitement, and capturing their gorgeous smiles in portraits—they deserved every moment of this special day. We are thrilled to announce the addition of Rachel Chang to our board at Project Beauty! Renowned in the community as a leading figure in business, Rachel epitomizes empowerment and brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate heart to our mission. Rachel Chang is the Director of Marketing and joined Prism Places, Inc. in 2021. Formerly an architectural designer, Rachel has a knack for building things - whether it’s properties, communities, or companies. After working at Omniplan and SmithGroup, among other architectural firms, Rachel transitioned into supporting startups, serving in leadership roles at The Dallas Entrepreneur Center, Tech Wildcatters, and The Riveter. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and completed the CORe Program at Harvard Business School (HBS) Online. Rachel is on the Retail Advisory Board for Partners Card, supporting the Family Place, and volunteers as a mentor for the Wakeland ISD Independent Study and Mentorship (ISM) Program. Rachel was recognized as ’50 Leading Women’ by the Plano Chamber of Commerce as part of their 50th anniversary campaign. We are immensely excited that Rachel is joining us. Her leadership and dedication will undoubtedly drive significant progress in our mission.
