You can find the full podcast below: Note, this podcast was recorded prior to the FDA’s decision on MDMA-AT. Since then, the FDA has (unfortunately) rejected the request for FDA approval. MAPS / Lykos Therapeutics remain committed to advancing their research. Here's a great breakdown of the issues associated with the FDA Advisory Committee’s recommendation against MDMA-assisted therapy (MDMA-AT) by Psychedelic Therapist Lauren Taus. Despite the Committee's recommendation, there is still hope that the FDA may approve MDMA-AT. It is expected that the FDA will be announcing its decision on MDMA-assisted therapy this afternoon.

It’s been just over one year since I followed my heart and founded The Sage Collective. The Sage Collective was formed as a mechanism to share the tools and practices that helped me overcome the mental health hurdles that I dealt with most of my adult life. This healing journey led me to align my career with this purpose, utilizing my experience and knowledge to help others access these same tools. I'm incredibly grateful to highlight our efforts over the last year in providing access to mindfulness tools and psychedelic-assisted therapy: 🚀 Enthea and our incredible team have facilitated insurance coverage for ketamine-assisted therapy for over 150,000 individuals. This not only provides crucial support to those in need but also paves the way for coverage of additional psychedelic medicines as they become approved and legalized. 📈 Developed a strategic business plan for the integration of psychedelic-assisted therapies into a major academic medical institute, with a keen focus on maintaining the integrity of these sacred practices, gaining approval from the CEO and Leadership Team. 🌌 Established a Jungian coaching program specializing in guiding individuals towards inner connection, alignment and empowerment - drawing from two years of experience working with a Jungian Analyst and training through the Jungian Coaching School - International. 🧘 Created a mindfulness and yoga program for unions with Riley Cote, addressing the often overlooked need for mindfulness in this population. ⚕️ Collaboration with EnableHealth LLC to design a nationwide sports health network, providing holistic approaches to mental health and pain management for retired athletes. 🧠 Supported Wake Network in their #tbichallenge, helping retired athletes and veterans through a 12-week program combining fungi medicine, neurofeedback and therapy. 🎙️ Helped create awareness of psychedelic-assisted therapy and mindfulness through various podcasts (shout out to Palveshey Tariq, Gideon Spencer and John Coleman, CEBS), 2 national conferences through The Healthcare Innovation Company (thINc), broker education with BenefitsAlly, Nat Measley's entrepreneur seminar and a guest lecture at West Chester University. I'm deeply thankful for the incredible support and opportunities that have enabled me to help others by sharing the life-changing lessons and tools I've gathered over time. I’ve also learned that we are the only ones in the way of pursuing our passion. EHIR is an exclusive community of executive leaders from Fortune 500 companies dedicated to transforming healthcare. Reflecting on how we got here - it’s a story of persistence and patience. To be honest, we faced rejection not once, but twice from EHIR. But each setback, rather than disheartening us, only fueled our resolve to improve and adapt. In general, I believe the best way to approach failure is to view it like an experiment - you have to refine your approach with each iteration and learn valuable lessons along the way.
