I recently visited The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort in Oman, the first St. Regis in the country, and a shining example of the storied brand.    Thank you to His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said for joining us at the resort’s grand opening celebration. We spoke about Oman as a premier destination for global travelers and Marriott’s commitment to the country’s growing tourism and hospitality industry.    Oman’s rich culture blends seamlessly with the timelessness of the St. Regis brand, and it was wonderful to experience it all: I went for a morning run and enjoyed breakfast with associates, and then visited our other hotels and sites around the city to deepen my understanding of the market.     The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort joins five other hotels in Marriott’s portfolio in Oman. Celebration of Oman’s Heritage with David Marriott This week, under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Crown Prince of Oman, and together with David Marriott, Mr. Hussain AlFardan, Omar Hussain Alfardan the AlFardan family, we had the honour of celebrating the grand opening of The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort. The hotel embodies Oman’s rich heritage and the brand’s timeless glamour. Nestled on the tranquil shores of Al Mouj’s waterfront the resort marks a new chapter for St. Regis as the debut of the brand in the Sultanate. The hotel features brands like, COYA Restaurant & Pisco Bar, Novikhov, Robertos, Om Shreef, Hakkasan Group and more. Congratulations to Jason Xuereb and the entire team of hosts at The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat. It was equally a pleasure and an honor to have David Marriott visit all our hotels in Muscat. And spend some time with our incredible teams at Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, W Muscat, Aloft Muscat and JW Marriott Hotel Muscat together with Safak ErdemGuvenc & Michel Nader. For me it was a refresher of our family culture and the power of active listening to the teams.   I first went to Oman 5 years back and fell in love with the country, for its ethos, heritage, and most of all the authenticity of its people. Love at first sight ! Oman will always remain a part of me.

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and Alfardan Group have announced the opening of The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort, marking the brand’s debut in #Oman. Positioned on the Al Mouj waterfront with direct access to the beach, the resort features curved superyacht-style architecture by Ibrahim Jaidah Architects & Engineers. COYA Restaurant & Pisco Bar will open at The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort in September, bringing Peruvian cuisine to Muscat. Known for its London launch in 2012, COYA offers a menu with Peruvian flavours and a contemporary twist, featuring dishes like ceviche and anticuchos. The restaurant combines its signature blend of electronic and Latin music, stylish interiors, and captivating artwork to create a dynamic atmosphere. Tarek Mourad, General Manager, says: "This perfect union combines the unparalleled service and luxurious setting of The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort with COYA’s vibrant energy and innovative spirit." The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort has opened as the brand's first property in #Oman. Featuring 250 rooms and suites, The St. Regis Muscat stretches across 360 meters of beachfront and boasts nine signature dining establishments. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy a Guerlain Spa with 11 treatment rooms, as well as swimming pools and a fitness center.
