A little Monday Motivation!

It’s because of him. If you receive a DM from me after 8pm, inquiring about an opening or to connect and learn about your journey - I’m putting in after work hours because my first fulltime position is Mothering this little guy. My entire heart outside of my body 💙 I’m sure you can see his personality through this photo, but trust it’s even bigger than what you see. Sometimes, I think is it worth it? Months of Cold DMs, Connecting with companies, recruiters and members of their sales team, being ghosted - the list goes ON! Then it hits me - I am already a BDR/SDR! everything I’m doing now, I will be doing as a *paid* member on someone’s team. I’m putting in the work now, day In and day out so that when I land that role, this little guy and I can get so chocolate wasted because Mommy did it. I’m putting in the work now, so that the times I’ve been away or not present to and for HIM because I was.. on zoom meetings past 6pm learning how to prospect.. on zoom meetings past 6pm learning how to uncover pain points and qualify those prospects .. On zoom meeting past 6pm learning how to effectively pitch in a cold call.. Will not be moments in vain. Because I will never get that time back. I am ready for the role and my company is out there.. to those recruiters and hiring managers, please know - sacrifices are being made and not just on your end. Budgets are important. But the time I’m given with my 3yo is limited and PRICELESS He will grow and I will not be able to go back and have a meeting to get that time back. Please be considerate and more understanding in the process. There are qualified candidates with real lives out here working to get their shot.
