When you’re emptying the dishwasher, all the kids (that includes the husband) are having 3 different conversations with you and you have a zillion things going on in your own head….only to look up momentarily and see this. This is a reminder to stay present, otherwise the most beautiful experiences and conversations that happen right in front of you, may just pass you right by. I would have missed this. #TrailblazeHers #DishaSolanki #BrittanyAnderson #BusinessOwner #WomenSupportingWomen #DigitalMarketing

People watching. It’s one of my favourite things. Seeing interactions between people, laughter, banter, facial reactions and expressions. Physical interactions can tell a thousand different situations and feelings that words alone cannot in business and personal situations. My favourite place to people watch was Catalonia at a street cafe drinking Cava, while my daughter enjoyed more than 1 crepe! #TrailblazeHers #DishaSolanki #BrittanyAnderson #WomenInBusiness #FemaleFounders #WomenEntrepreneurs #CommunitySupport

Running a business can be exhilarating, and when I’m totally honest it can also be exhausting.  The constant hustle, decision-making, and problem-solving can leave us feeling like we’re running on empty. Especially if you are like me and have more entrepreneurial ideas that can be counted AND I want to take action on ALL of them. After a summer where I said I will slow down and take time away, I failed to do that even when on holiday. Instead I came up with more ideas and want on a mission of how to find solutions to make them become reality. As a result despite feeling excited, I’m exhausted all at the same time. The pull of life and business all at the same time eventually becomes draining. On reflection I have learned again many things I already knew. I happen to have unlearned them all. So for any of you feeling the same this September remember a few key things: 1️⃣ Set Boundaries and stick to them! It's easy to get lost in the grind. Allow time to recharge, and don’t feel guilty about it. Mine is I have to actually eat properly. 2️⃣ Delegate & Trust Your Team, You don’t need to carry the weight alone. Empower your team by delegating tasks and trusting them to deliver. You’ll not only get some breathing room but also build a stronger business. 3️⃣ Prioritise Self-Care: You are your most valuable asset. Daily self-care routines, whether it’s exercise, meditation, or just taking time to breathe, are non-negotiable. When you invest in yourself, your business reaps the rewards. 4️⃣ Revisit Your Why: It's easy to get bogged down in daily tasks. Take a step back and reconnect with your purpose. Remember why you started your business in the first place, this reminder can reignite your passion and energy. 5️⃣ Work Smarter, Not Harder: Focus on high-impact tasks that drive growth and reduce time spent on low-value activities.  Avoid burnout by taking intentional steps toward balance, rest, and rejuvenation. 💪 Your business will thrive when you are at your best. I’ll let you know how it goes. #TrailblazeHers #DishaSolanki #BrittanyAnderson #BusinessOwner #WomenSupportingWomen #DigitalMarketing #BusinessGrowth

I love visiting a palace. Ceilings in particular intrigue me. I’m always intrigued by how people lived back in time, the grandeur, the staffing, the grounds, the ethos by which they lived.  Having wandered around a couple of palaces this summer. I wonder how us women got to where we are at the moment.  We once oversaw household tasks, often as a silent force behind the scenes, yet now many of us find ourselves shouldering both professional and domestic responsibilities.  Still silently going about our business despite the struggle. It’s a stark reminder of how much has changed and how much remains to be done.  While we’ve gained more opportunities, have we also taken on an unsustainable load?  It makes me reflect on how we can redefine success and balance for future generations of women. #TrailblazeHers #DishaSolanki #BrittanyAnderson #BusinessOwner #WomenSupportingWomen #FemaleFounders #WomenEntrepreneurs #CommunitySupport

It’s easy to get caught up in the challenges and stress of being in business. I decided a long while ago that my little secret is that positivity is contagious. When you approach your work with a genuine smile and a happy heart, not only do you uplift your own spirits, but you also create an environment where others can thrive. Let your happiness and vision be the energy that sparks joy and motivation in your team.  When others see your enthusiasm, they can’t help but feel inspired too. Together, we can build a workplace where happiness and success go hand in hand. #TrailblazeHers #DishaSolanki #BrittanyAnderson #BusinessOwner #WomenSupportingWomen  #FemaleFounders #WomenEntrepreneurs #CommunitySupport

Feeling lonely while running a successful business is a real struggle.  It can be tough when all the decisions rest on your shoulders and you don't know where to turn. But it's okay to ask for help.  You can't be an expert in everything, and reaching out for guidance can help you achieve your goals faster and without frustration.  Don't let the weight of the world hold you back from growing your business.  Take the first step and ask for the help you need.  I bet the only person judging you is you. #TrailblazeHers #DishaSolanki #BrittanyAnderson #BusinessOwner #WomenSupportingWomen #FemaleFounders #WomenEntrepreneurs #CommunitySupport

"Natwest at this point you could hire me!" I love it when you call customer services for online help and they are irritated with you because they have given me instructions that make no sense to me. I had to figure out where the miscommunication was because I NEEDED help that ONLY they could give me AND I had anger management issues. I’m calling out NatWest here as they need training, preferably on their own products and services. I needed help with an online portal, part of me wishes I had not been so patient as the advisor on the other side of the line wasn’t even looking at a screen!! She had no idea what the online page should like whatsoever. You would think that giving online help would mean walking you through steps that she could actually see. Nope she went and asked someone else who kind of gave instructions but not exactly. Instead I suggested she get a screen and stop wasting my time, finally got her to where I needed to be and matters got a whole lot worse. I was being given incorrect information about a product I wanted to transfer to, apparently what i was asking was not possible. I suggested that I speak to someone who knows more than she does because i didn’t want to tell her that she quite frankly had no clue…could it get worse? Advisor now tells me she in fact has no clue what she is talking about! Moving on to person number 2 who is in the right department also gives me misinformation and I had to tell her that what she was saying quite honestly makes zero sense if she just thought it through from a common sense perspective. And so we reach a period where there is a lock, I called for help and the people on the other end of the phone are more useless than me. So yet again, I, the customer find the advisor a solution and tell her to grab a more senior person and direct me accurately and to not say anymore at all unless the advice is factually correct, not in her opinion or wondering around the internet. Natwest at this point you could hire me. A key part of customer service is not just the products you sell and how you sell them but what happens after a client purchases and becomes part of your ecosystem. Don’t take them for granted, they are not tied to you, no matter how hard you make it to leave. Make sure your team have the right training and support and retrain, reinforce at all possible opportunities. From my perspective there is nothing more irritating than asking a business for help and its the most difficult ask in the world. #TrailblazeHers #DishaSolanki #BrittanyAnderson #BusinessOwner #WomenSupportingWomen #DigitalMarketing

There is no magic bullet when it comes to scaling business. Patience is required. There is no one size fits all template. It’s bit like if there is a perfect rainbow everytime one shines in the sky. Anyone who sells you that or makes you think that, isn't giving you the advice that you really need, they are just telling you what you desperately want to hear. Get the basics right.
