Meet Diane Sell, founder of Health in Motion Physical Therapy Diane's journey from caregiver to physical therapist began while caring for her mother during a breast cancer diagnosis, which, combined with her own recovery from sports injuries, ignited her passion for physical therapy. Frustrated by declining care at larger clinics, Diane opened Health in Motion CT, offering personalized 1:1 care to ensure every client receives her full attention. As a woman entrepreneur in physical therapy, Diane has faced biases and stereotypes in healthcare and business environments. Despite these obstacles, she strives to challenge norms and drive positive contributions to patient care and business innovation. Diane credits the WBDC Ignite grant with allowing her to purchase a Rehab Pilates Reformer, a valuable tool that has increased sales by 20%. “The WBDC marketing classes and mentoring system were invaluable,” helping Diane expand her online presence and making it easier for clients to find Health in Motion CT. Learn more about Diane's personalized physical therapy at healthinmotionct.com.
