  • In the latest Shed and Shine episode, Gino Wickman and Rob Dube explore a transformative force often overlooked in entrepreneurship: gratitude. Through the story of Dr. Elizabeth Boham, who leaned on gratitude journaling to navigate depression after a cancer diagnosis, they showcase how a simple practice can shift your mindset and foster positivity. Gino reflects on his own 25-year nightly ritual of saying “thank you”—a habit sparked by a friend’s gratitude for nature during a hike. It’s a practice that’s led to more happiness, connection, and clarity. As Gino puts it, “Gratitude and humility are interchangeable—when you practice one, you unlock the other.” Gratitude isn’t just about being thankful; it’s about amplifying the value of what you already have. As Dan Sullivan says, “Appreciation increases value.” 🎙️ Listen here: https://lnkd.in/gBkuGYaY

  • Gino Wickman’s reflections are a powerful reminder of the unique challenges and rewards of the entrepreneurial journey. Many entrepreneurs focus on external achievements, only to find themselves wondering, “Is this all there is?” This is why Shine and the 10 Disciplines exist—to guide driven individuals in balancing external success with internal peace. True freedom comes from looking inward, finding clarity, and creating space for personal growth. Pick up your copy of Shine here: https://lnkd.in/gy-UWGJF

Working with driven entrepreneurs has been my life for over three decades. It is one of my greatest joys. I happen to be one myself. Being a driven entrepreneur is both a blessing and a curse. We’re the creators, the problem solvers, and the ones people rely on to save the day. But the curse? We often sacrifice our emotional, physical, and mental well-being—and leave a trail of damage in the process. However, I made a new discovery. I’ve now witnessed many entrepreneurs make the climb to the top of the mountain, ring the bell, and ask, “Is this all there is?” They feel unfulfilled, incomplete, empty — like something is missing. Reaching the destination that they’ve worked so hard to get to doesn’t feel the way they thought it would. That’s why I co-wrote Shine: How Looking Inward Is the Key to Unlocking True Entrepreneurial Freedom with Rob Dube. Rob and I teach 10 powerful disciplines that help you to not only maximize your external impact on the world and give you unlimited energy but also create a foundation to make space and time in your life to go inside to that scary place (that we, the driven, avoid by distracting ourselves with our workaholic ways) and find inner peace.

  • Are you stuck in the pattern of saying “yes” to everything? As driven entrepreneurs, it’s easy to confuse every “yes” with progress—but overcommitment is the silent thief of energy, clarity, and focus. The truth? Not every opportunity aligns with your bigger vision. The discipline of saying “no” isn’t about rejection—it’s about creating space for the right “yeses,” the ones that move the needle and truly matter. Ready to reclaim your focus and energy? Read Gino Wickman’s full blog and learn how mastering “no” can lead to lasting growth 👉 https://lnkd.in/gkMFhuTP

  • The 10-Year business cycle: are you ready for what’s coming? Every 10 years, businesses go through a predictable cycle: six good years, two great years, and two bad years. The question isn’t if those tough years will come—it’s whether you’ll be ready for them. In this episode, Gino Wickman shares timeless wisdom from his mentor, @Sam Cupp, and explains how 10-Year Thinking—Discipline #1—helps you prepare for the inevitable. The key? Make hay while the sun shines and build resilience for the storms ahead. 🎙️ Tune in to learn how to navigate the ups and downs of entrepreneurship: https://loom.ly/djfJmyg #The10Disciplines #Leadership #Entrepreneurship #Resilience

  • Free your True Self ✨ Your deepest intuition is already within you, but fears, old stories, and self-limiting beliefs create barriers. Rumi said it best: “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” What belief is holding you back?
