The last two days of my field experience career exploration class have been truly unforgettable! A huge thank you to MRM with host Jeff Cruz, Identity with host Kim Eberhardt, the JRT agency with hosts Mark Bellissimo and Kristin Miller - Albani, CG Detroit, and United Wholesale Mortgage with hosts Emily Noel, Olivia Beesley, and Leah Davis for welcoming us and sharing your expertise. I love nothing more than to meet and network with successful Spartans. If I learned anything this week, I learned that #SpartansWill! From creative campaigns to impactful PR strategies and data-driven solutions, it was inspiring to see how each organization thrives in its unique way. This experience gave me the chance to connect what I’ve learned in the classroom to real-world applications while gaining a clearer understanding of potential career paths. Detroit’s and the metro area's professional landscape continues to amaze me, blending creativity, collaboration, and a forward-thinking culture that stands out. A special highlight was speaking with Mateen Cleaves, who shared insights on the power of maintaining a positive outlook on life— it’s advice like this that will stick with me as I move forward.
