We are hosting a special hiring event for full and part-time Mental Health Technicians on August 27 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you have a minimum of a high school diploma and are a caring and compassionate person who enjoys helping others succeed, then we want to meet you! AppleGate Recovery will be offering an informational session on Narcan and how to administer this life-saving intervention. Additionally, they will have Narcan available at no-cost for those in attendance.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive on August 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at our facility located at 132 The Meadows Dr., Centre Hall. Please join our life-saving mission and schedule an appointment today! The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every two to three seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. It is that time of year, when students will head back to college in the next couple of weeks. Whether you are a returning student, or this is your freshman year, the transition can be overwhelming.
