The Meadows is a 117-bed private behavioral health care facility on a spacious 52-acre rural campus, located minutes outside State College in Central Pennsylvania. As an integrated behavioral health care delivery system, The Meadows provides comprehensive mental and behavioral health treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Each unit on campus provides specialized care programs for every age group. Offering a wide referral network of providers throughout Central Pennsylvania, The Meadows represents a regional specialty system structured to meet the continuum of care demanded by patients, professionals and payers.

  • We are hosting a special hiring event for full and part-time Mental Health Technicians on August 27 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you have a minimum of a high school diploma and are a caring and compassionate person who enjoys helping others succeed, then we want to meet you! We will offer on-site interviews, and you will receive a $10 Dunkin gift card just for attending. Please apply on our website prior to the event at www.themeadows.net. To RSVP, call HR at 814-364-2161. While you are on-site, we welcome you to join one of our Narcan training and distribution sessions occurring at 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. AppleGate Recovery will be offering an informational session on Narcan and how to administer this life-saving intervention. Additionally, they will have Narcan available at no-cost for those in attendance.

  • The Meadows Psychiatric Center and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive on August 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at our facility located at 132 The Meadows Dr., Centre Hall. Please join our life-saving mission and schedule an appointment today! The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every two to three seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. Whether you are a returning student, or this is your freshman year, the transition can be overwhelming.
