Congrats to Amanda, our Assistant Director of Clinical Programming on her recent Certification in Perinatal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International According to Postpartum Support International, perinatal mental health conditions are the #1 complication of childbearing and can have devastating effects if not recognized and treated. "I work closely with this population at The Milk Bank. Having the PMH-C training allows me to be part of a safety net to help recognize warning signs and connect parents with needed supports!"

It's Workplace Lactation Week & we're showing off our very own lactation space! Employees use this space & our staff lactation professionals provide free support for folks scheduling in-person help. There are now three federal lactation laws to guide organizations & support new parents. The PUMP Act, Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and Title IX.
