What a week! We had an incredible CIT Bootcamp with an inspiring group of leaders diving deep into their growth journeys. At the same time, our clinical teams were sharpening their skills at Clinical Bootcamp, and it was a powerful experience to see both groups come together for a fun night out watching a women's basketball game. The energy, learning, and camaraderie this week have been next level—proof that we grow stronger and closer when we grow together! Affiliates of Pennant Services now operate 115 home health, hospice, senior living and assisted living agencies and communities across 13 Western states and we expect this growth to continue. These agencies and communities have no corporate headquarters or traditional management hierarchy. Instead, they operate independently with support from the “Service Center,” a world-class service team that provides the centralized clinical, legal, risk management, HR, training, accounting, IT and other resources necessary to allow on-site leaders and caregivers to focus squarely on day-to-day care and business issues in their individual operations.

Are you looking for a life-changing leadership opportunity? I certainly was. Nearly 14 years ago I was pondering my professional aspirations. After receiving an MBA and completing an executive training program with a Fortune 500 company, I was several years into a very promising corporate career. Even though I enjoyed my work, there was still something missing. In search of a more fulfilling role to test my leadership (and entrepreneurial) chops, I was introduced to the CEO-in-Training program with Pennant.
