🌟 Partner Highlight Friday: Meet Bella from The Soul Project, Inc🌟 Today, we're thrilled to spotlight Bella, a vibrant 16-year-old from The Soul Project. Bella takes part in The Soulful Girls Club, a community for teenage girls with intellectual and developmental differences to create, move, and connect. Thanks to The Soul Project's continued partnership with Rodman for Kids, Bella has access to a dedicated 1:1 aide who ensures that she is safe and engaged during the fun Soulful Girls Club events, giving her the ability to find a supportive community where she can thrive and build meaningful connections. Through Rodman for Kids' Charity Partner Program, organizations like The Soul Project can provide vital programs and resources that empower youth like Bella to discover their passions and express themselves freely. Let's celebrate Bella's journey and the positive impact of inclusive programs made possible through community partnership! 🌈💫 Learn more about the Charity Partner Program at https://lnkd.in/dnNaZ8Ur #PartnerHighlight #TheSoulProject #Rodman4Kids #YouthEmpowerment #InclusionMatters #CommunitySupport #MakingADifference

It was an honor to have our founder and Executive Director Kristie Dean share her story at the 8th Annual Educational Summit run by the Resilience Project at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. We love working with our community to better support the emotional well-being of our kids, and also the adults who support them. We have our work cut out for us and it takes a village! Thank you to Elizabeth Booma Chief of Child Psychiatry, and Jennifer DelRey, Ph.D. for inviting us to be a part of this impactful day.

We are thrilled to share that The Soul Project was invited to the Boston Celtics Headquarters to host our signature Soulful Girls workshop “UNSHAKEABLE”, for the inaugural “Her Time to Play” event run by the Junior Celtics Academy. This workshop was led by our Soulful Girls Program Coordinator, Christine McDonough, who empowered the girls to embrace their authentic selves and pursue their dreams through interactive activities and thought-provoking discussions. Over 70 participants explored the difference between fitting-in and belonging. They unpacked their individual and collective identities, stepped out of their comfort zones, and connected with new friends and mentors. The workshop kicked off with a powerful activity - 'links of confidence,' where each participant contributed to forming a chain of affirmations symbolizing the collective strength of the group. The workshop closed with a powerful exercise where the girls recited personal affirmations while holding up their hand-made, symbolic mirrors. The room echoed with sentiments of courage, empowerment, and community and the girls were reminded that they have within them, all they need to chase their wildest dreams. The atmosphere was electric, leaving everyone feeling brave, confident, and inspired to take on the world! This event is a testament to the power of collaboration. Many people came together to make this event a success. Thank you to Waseem G., Director of Youth Development of Junior Celtics for his vision and leadership and Chris Sparks, Sr. Director of Junior Celtics for his encouragement and support. Thank you also to Kristie Dean, Executive Director + Founder of The Soul Project and Rasheeda Faulk, Board Member, for their unwavering dedication and supportive counsel in bringing this partnership to life. We send so much gratitude to the entire Soul Project Board of Directors, team members, and volunteers who provided their invaluable time, energy, and support throughout this event. Together, we're empowering girls to become UNSHAKABLE in their identities and dreams. We look forward to partnering again with the Jr. Celtics Academy Youth Development and elevating our shared vision to create powerful spaces where girls can grow! #SoulfulGirls #TheSoulProject #JrCelticsAcademy #HerTimeToPlay #BecomingUNSHAKEABLE #GirlsEmpowerment #Collaboration #Community #BasketballSkills #SelfDiscovery #BostonCeltics Isabelle Atkinson Lauren DAngelo, LCSW, MSM Katie Warsofsky Melanie Gundersheim Hope Palladino Meg K.
