7 years ago today I followed my heart and my faith when I married this incredible man. I never thought I could love again but as my friend Rebecca Mullaney explained, our hearts have many chambers. What a gift it has been to witness my husband lead our family in faith as he selflessly serves us each and every day. I’m so proud of him for his 22 years of military service and his continued service within our government. Happy Anniversary to us! ♥️🙏 Today I get to head to our nations capitol with our Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) team for Rebecca to testify. Within her heartbreaking and beautiful story she will share how important passing the #LoveLivesOnAct is to our remarried military widows. People aren’t replaceable.
