We're providing civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying services for the new Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center (SWRC) facility, located at the intersection of Louisiana Ave and North Carolina Ave in Savannah, GA. This project includes the construction of a 3,500-square-foot rehabilitation center, supporting SWRC's mission to provide safety and treatment for orphaned and injured wildlife. T&H has been involved from the initial project entitlements phase and will continue supporting SWRC throughout the site development process. Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating native Georgia wildlife and promoting wildlife welfare through education. With a clear focus on community, sustainability, and innovation, this collaboration will provide essential learning opportunities for students in civil engineering. Another fantastic 7x24 Exchange International conference last week at the JW Marriot in Phoenix is in the books! It was a pleasure seeing old friends, making new connections, and learning about the future of the data center industry! Amazing content, fantastic showcases, and even better company. One of the standout sessions was the discussion titled “Using a Sustainability Index to Align Targets,” featuring Karen P. with PowerHouse Data Centers, J.D. Lambert with HKS, Inc. & Elizabeth L. with Bala Consulting Engineers. The panel offered valuable perspectives on how sustainability can be effectively integrated into our operational goals. The discussion highlighted practical approaches to measuring and achieving sustainability targets, which is crucial for the future of our industry. The conference provided numerous networking opportunities to connect with industry leaders and peers. It was great to exchange ideas and discuss potential collaborations that could drive the industry forward. Huge thank you to Scott Greene, & Brad Sanderson with Thomas & Hutton, and Brian Jabeck with Bennett & Pless, Inc. for co-hosting a very successful Cabana Happy Hour. It was a perfect way to unwind and network in a relaxed setting. Shout out to Sarah El-Taher & Karen, for another well attending 6:30 a.m. Yoga and Meditation session. It is the perfect start to a long conference day, and much appreciated! 🙏 Enjoyed lunch with a few WiMCO ladies, thank you to Sarah Turner for hosting the table, and had a chance to meet some new WiMCO connections.
