    The All-In Podcast has shared some awesome thoughts on AI Voice Agents for call centers over the last few months... "You'll call up the call center and get a voice that sounds like a human– and you won't even realize it's AI." No one doubts that this is the future of CCaaS, and here's why (according to David O. Sacks, Jason Calacanis, and Chamath Palihapitiya): 𝟏: 𝐈𝐕𝐑𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐤 No one likes engaging with pre-recorded IVR menus ("press 1 for sales," "say front desk for front desk," etc). The solution? Dynamic, conversational AI Voice Agents that feel natural and sound human. Imagine calling up an airline and speaking with what sounds like a human instantly, then getting your flight rebooked within 90 seconds. 𝟐: 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐥, 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 Thoughtly customers in French Canada have completely different requirements than those in mainland France 🇫🇷 Voice Agents should be able to pick up on your accent and communicate in a way that feels personalized and localized. Want to switch over to speaking English now? No problem. 𝟑: 𝐋𝐋𝐌 𝐄𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞 No matter what anyone says, language models aren't perfect– that's why Agents operating in highly sensitive use cases like legal, and even towards the bottom of the S&M funnel (i.e., AI SDRs/BDRs), can be tough. Customer support operates with a built-in tolerance for error—especially at "Tier 1." If the AI can’t solve the problem, it escalates the call to a human. On Thoughtly, a "Tier 1" Agent can actually transfer the call to another Voice Agent with expertise and tools built for a different set of tasks, such as billing vs. product help 🤯 𝐒𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭?
