However, you might miss opportunities to deeply focus on tasks or need some time to organize your schedule. So here are three tips to optimize your day to accomplish everything on your plate: 🗓 Block out time on your calendar to include dedicated time for decompressing, creating, editing, networking, and so on. By assigning specific time frames and blocking your calendar for each task, both you and your colleagues are more likely to respect the designated time for each item. 🗓 Always take some time after meetings to take a deep breath and focus on the task at hand.     Do you know what mad skills are? 💫 This new expression has been cropping up more often in recruitment articles and we're looking for some information to be part of the conversation with you, our audience. 💪 Hard skills: specific, niche-related abilities within a profession 🤝 Soft skills: skills that focus on behavior rather than something tactical 🤳Mad skills: understanding that a hobby can provide you with useful skills for your professional environment. It's a move that some hiring teams are making by getting a sense of how people develop in all kinds of activities, not just traditional ones like classes or courses. This highlights that our personality and identity -shaped by knowledge, experiences, and habits- are something that managers can interpret as valuable. For instance, someone who participates in a theater group often has good communication skills or a person who practices running can be really focused during an activity. It's not "mad" to think that our skills can transfer from one area of our lives to another, we can't simply disconnect what we are when we're working. A perfect example of what we're talking about is the TV series Severance, available on Apple TV.     Let's face it: documentation can either save you or doom you ✍️ Everyone has a different opinion, after all, we all have our own experiences and see things differently. Documentation is the kind of subject that can lead to long discussions. There are always those who don't like to follow processes, which means not creating or updating proper documentation on a project. When the work goes to another squad, the members spend more time trying to understand what has been done than actually working on it. So even though documenting the project can be a problem for some people, because it takes time and it's something that you never stop updating, there's no excuse for not doing it. 📑Documentation is an important tool for any part of the company.  📑It's where processes, rules, and guidelines are written down to get everyone on the same page.  📑By writing down the steps and strategies there, you'll be safe to take action and discuss them. 📑It's a practical format for sharing knowledge. 📑When you have previous data to analyze, you can transform it into valuable learning.
