This week, 36 interns and three members of our executive team met for a lively discussion that covered a range of topics: 💡 College and career pivots (they’re totally normal). 💡 The power of curiosity (it can lead to your unique path). 💡 What to do when an outcome isn’t what you wanted (focus on what you learned). Why it matters: “Connecting with executives and getting firsthand career advice is one of several valuable experiences we offer summer interns,” said Eric Bergman, college recruiting lead, Talent Acquisition. Our 12-week corporate internship program is designed to attract, develop, and retain a pipeline of candidates who want to build their career at Thrivent. The goal of our internship program—whether working with undergraduate or graduate students—is for the interns to continue on as full-time employees.
