50 applicants, 25 final students, 6 teams, 5 mentors, 4 master classes,3 judges, some innumerable brainstorming sessions, disagreements, heartburns, significant findings, and new learnings resulted in nothing but six great ideas and pitch decks that blew the audience's minds. Seeking inspiration from their moms, dads, siblings, and friends' suffering, and of course, their pain points made them think of products that were solving real-life problems, not just in social life but mental, physical, and environmental issues. What was astonishing was that at 16 -17 years of age, these kids have so much clarity and passion to solve a problem. It was eight weeks well spent, and now we are eager to see how the Dallas finalist does in the Global Finals. We wish the Dallas Finalist all the best for the TYE Global pitch on June 20th and 21st. #YouthEntrepreneurs #InnovationInAction #FutureLeaders #GlobalFinalists #TYEGlobal #PitchPerfect #TeenVisionaries #SolvingRealProblems #DallasPride #YoungMinds #EntrepreneurialJourney #InspiringYouth #NextGenInnovators #TeenPitch #CreativeSolutions Ram Viswanathan, Roshan P. Here’s a recap of our exciting activities: NCL Inaugural Game Event: We kicked off the month with a thrilling day of cricket, culminating in the presentation of autographed memorabilia from the NCL inaugural game. It was a fantastic opportunity for our Board and Charter members to come together in a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Token of Appreciation: Arun Agarwal, Chairman of NCL, honored Ram Viswanathan with a miniature cricket bat featuring the NCL logo. This gesture symbolized the strong partnership and support between TiE Dallas and NCL. Meeting with the Consul General: Our members met with Mr. Manjunath, the Consul General of India in Dallas. The meeting fostered a fruitful exchange of ideas and opened doors for potential collaborations. Mic & Mix Event: Our recent Mic & Mix event brought together thought leaders to explore the fascinating intersection of AI, technology, and law. The discussions were both insightful and thought-provoking, engaging our audience on a range of important topics. Gratitude for an Inspiring Session with Shar at the TiE Dallas Women's Forum. The TiE Dallas Board of Directors and Executive Committee thank Shar Dubey for graciously agreeing to speak at the TiE Women event. Her generosity in sharing her time and patient engagement with all our guests profoundly impacted everyone in the room. Shar's talk was awe-inspiring for the women present and sparked thoughtful reflections among the men. Her relatable advice and powerful anecdotes resonated deeply, motivating us to consider our paths with renewed clarity and purpose. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that her insights coaxed some of us into making course corrections in our professional journeys. Shar's unique ability to observe and read a room—a skill she attributes to being an introvert—translates into an exceptional talent for handling and understanding people and problem management. It's a testament to the power of quiet leadership and the significant impact it can have. Thank you, Shar, for being warm, patient, and an incredible leader. Your presence and insights, which have left a lasting impression on us all, are a true testament to your exceptional leadership. #Leadership #WomenInBusiness #TiEDallas #Inspiration #QuietLeadership #TiEWomen2024 #Globalpitchcompetition Roshan P.
