    Has Google been sending less or more organic traffic to sites over time? People say SEO is dead, so we decided to look at the data. We looked at 35,599 sites over the last 4 years. Specially we looked at Google Search Console data, which tracks SEO traffic. Technically, we had access to more data, but many sites turned inactive, and our database wasn't as big 4 plus years ago. According to Forbes, there are 1.13 billion websites on the web, but only 200,121,724 are actively maintained. So here are the results. 2020 was the baseline year. So naturally, it was 100% as whatever traffic those sites had from SEO we wanted to see if it was going up or down each year. On average, sites saw an increase in SEO traffic by 9.83% over 3 years. I guess SEO isn’t dead. And I guess what Danny Sullivan from Google said may be true, “Google has driven more traffic to websites each year since its inception”.
