Another great event, this time for @TLC Impact, kindly hosted at @LGT Crestone   TLC Impact is a new revolutionary NFP focused on access, opportunity and choice for people who live with disability.  It is a social enterprise that is launching cafes that employ people with a disability and its own branded range of coffee and snack food products on supermarket shelves These initiatives will also raise finances for its foundation which is focused on delivering accessible, meaningful employment opportunities for people who live with a disability, including physical, intellectual, and mental. Learnings from its own challenge in identifying job seekers with a disability and training and supporting them to thrive in a busy café, the social enterprise is also building a new innovative marketplace that connects trainers, recruiters, employers, and job seekers.     We were fortunate to hear from @Ken Lee from @LGT Crestone, @Rae Anderson, dual Summer and Winter Paralympics Games Competitor and ParaMatilda about her challenges but how she has thrived thanks to her mindset and abilities, @David Jack (CEO of TLC Impact, @Yasser Zaki (TLC Global Chair), and NDIS participants, Billie and Salim about their own experience running a café.

The power of partnerships was on full display yesterday at the Jobs & Skills Fair! Tender Loving Care (TLC), Business Chambers South, Workforce Australia & Training Services NSW joined forces to create an incredible event that brought together over 450 attendees, 35+ exhibitors, and a line-up of speakers from Government local, state, and federal levels, Matthew Caruana, our very own Bili & Laura Cowell were voices of inspiration. TLC Impact served amazing coffee with love. Helping Hands - tv show were on site filming the second part of our documentary. Yasser Zaki was leading the way with insightful conversations. We were very excited to showcase the value of collaboration in driving meaningful employment and skills development in our community.
