A 25-year study reveals how empathy is passed from parents to teens to their future children: https://buff.ly/4aI6ACE "Our new research shows that parents who express empathy toward their teenagers may give teens a head start in developing the skill themselves. In addition, adolescents who show empathy and support toward their friends are more likely to become supportive parents, which may foster empathy in their own offspring." #parenting #parentingtips

Yesterday, Gov. Wes Moore signed an executive order creating the Maryland Plain Language Initiative. This initiative helps create a more inclusive and accessible government for all Marylanders. Using plain language in state government will give so many people with and without disabilities access to important information they need to live the lives they want. Thank you, Governor Moore, for working to make sure that no Marylander is left behind!
