Thurgood Marshall College Fund reposted this
We had an incredibly impactful week at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund’s 24th Annual Leadership Institute. This was my first time leading this partnership from a Brand perspective, and I want to start by thanking the Brand Team at Ally for trusting me to lead and execute. A big thanks to my Ally teammates who traveled to Washington, DC to make it all happen—couldn’t have asked for a better team! Engaging with so many brilliant HBCU students was a full-circle moment for me. Reflecting on my own journey not long ago, I remember not having someone who looked like me around to share their corporate experiences, or how to navigate on the road to corporate. Being able to fill that role for these students was deeply meaningful. One surprise: the students calling me “Mr. Alphonso” or “Mr. Johnson” (I’m not that old yet LOL). Thank you to TMCF for another successful year, and a huge shoutout to our partners (MKTG, Macy's ) for helping bring everything together! #Ally #TMCFLI24 #TMCF
