From Patient to Problem Solver: The Birth of Tooktake 🌟
To all my new followers—welcome! 👋 If we haven’t met yet, I’m Leeanna, and this is a little bit of my story.
A few years ago, I found myself in the toughest battle of my life—fighting breast cancer. 🎗️ The treatments were overwhelming, both physically and emotionally, and on top of everything, I was constantly worried about keeping track of all the medications I needed to take.
That’s when I realized something: managing medications shouldn’t be this hard, especially when you’re going through something as challenging as cancer treatment. But there I was, trying to keep track of multiple prescriptions, and I couldn’t find a simple, effective way to do it.
So, between doctor appointments and chemo sessions, I started brainstorming. I needed something easy, something that wouldn’t add more stress to my life. And that’s how Tooktake was born—a simple, no-tech solution to help people keep track of their medications without the hassle. 💊✨
But the story doesn’t end there. Even after my treatment was done, I still had to take one medication a day. You’d think that would be easier, right? Nope! Getting back to “normal” life with family, friends, and work made it even harder to remember that one daily dose. That’s when I realized Tooktake wasn’t just for people going through treatment—it was for anyone trying to juggle life and still take care of themselves.
Today, I’m cancer-free and Tooktake is out in the world, helping people of all ages manage their medications—whether they’re dealing with a chronic illness, caring for a pet, or just trying to build a healthy habit.
My journey from patient to entrepreneur has been filled with challenges and triumphs, and I’m incredibly proud of what Tooktake has become. If you’re new here, thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m excited to share more about Tooktake and how it can help make life just a little bit easier.
