Founded in 1968, Trans-Matic was the first deep draw metal stamping company in western Michigan. Starting out with only two presses, Pat Thompson built the company on a simple premise: to provide high-quality, reliable metal stamping of the highest caliber across a diversified market. That's where our story begins. Since then, we've developed a seasoned, global team of toolmakers, die designers and support personnel. Last week our Metal Spinning Division held their fall meeting in Holland, MI. Part of that meeting included a plant tour of PMA member company Trans-Matic Mfg. Co. Thank you to P. J. Thompson, Adam Briggs, Lori Miedema, CAP and Jeff Sotok for helping set up the tour and welcoming us to their facility. Our spinning division members were grateful to their senior management team for taking the time to show us their innovative and productive company! Where People Take Shape: What a week it's been here at Trans-Matic! 🎉 We kicked things off on Monday by participating in the Holland Zeeland Labor Day Truck Parade. Our team had a blast rolling through the streets and waving to all the smiling faces along the route. 🚚👋 But the celebrations didn't stop there. Later in the week, we gathered to honor Randy Bowen as he begins his well-deserved retirement. Randy has been an integral part of the Trans-Matic family for over 37 incredible years. Where People Take Shape: We had an absolute blast at our Trans-Matic summer picnic yesterday! It was the perfect way to celebrate all the hard work our incredible team has put in lately. 🙌 A huge thank you to Porter's Smokehouse for the delicious food! And of course, no summer picnic is complete without ice cream - it was the perfect cool treat. 🍦 The games had us all in stitches and brought out everyone's competitive side.
