NextUp Lesson 10 begins our job search unit. This lesson sets the stage for preparing students for employment. Students create a comprehensive employment portfolio that showcases relevant qualifications, achievements, and experiences, including a professional resume, cover letter, and other supporting documents.

NextUp Lesson 9 wraps up our third unit of the school year on self-advocacy. In the main topic, students gain the knowledge and skills to actively participate in developing and implementing their IEP. In the secondary topic, students will have the opportunity to collaborate with others demonstrating effective communication, cooperation, adaptability, and conflict resolution.
