Through this program, we've had almost one hundred teachers take the course in order to bring a trauma-informed perspective to their classrooms. Some of the testimonials from educators that we've received include: "More and more of the children that we are seeing in the school setting are coming to school with an entire host of traumatic experiences. With 50% of children experiencing trauma, these kids are in our classes. I especially appreciated the scientific data on how children's brains are physically changed by the trauma that they have experienced. They are not choosing to be difficult children, they are doing the best they can with what they have experienced in life. It is our job to do our best for them.
