On Wednesday, James Kaikis, Sam Senior, and I brought together an incredible group of SE/GTM leaders in Chicago from Rippling, Workday, ServiceMax, a PTC Technology, Showpad, Tray.ai, Sales Assembly, and Telnyx. Here are some takeaways. AI agents continue to be top of mind, as well as the evolution of CS and the expanding role of technical leaders. "Do-more-with-less" and the continuing consolidation/reduction of SaaS spend remain common themes, as well as reducing ramp for fast-growing teams. Generative AI is making more of an impact, and the roles within GTM are evolving. Those who embrace generative AI will have a 10x opportunity for outsized impact; those who do not risk being left behind.
