Localized power. Intersectionality. Youth-Led. TREEage is the vehicle to elect climate justice champions and inform climate justice policy in NYC, by rallying the power of the NYC youth vote. We are a youth organization dedicated to fundamental legislative change in New York City and State’s response to the climate crisis. We will no longer accept empty rhetoric nor inadequate promises from our leaders, but instead offer tangible plans toward real solutions.

    Last week, TREEage and NY Renews hosted our third annual Youth Day of Action, bringing 400+ students from all 5 boroughs of NYC, Long Island, Ithaca, Syracuse, and every region in NYS to the State Capitol! As budget negotiations continue, it is critical to hear from all stakeholders in the policymaking process –– and young people have been historically left out. No longer is this acceptable. I started TREEage 5 years ago and it's unbelievable to see our organization have 1000+ members and continue to grow each year. I'm so incredibly proud of our team, our members, and everyone who joined us for their first (or third!) day of action.
