TruFund Financial Services joined the Georgia Secretary of State (GA SOS) convening on women in business and access to capital which brought together female entrepreneurs, business leaders, and financial experts to address barriers and opportunities for women-led businesses in the state. The event centered on promoting equitable access to funding and provided insights into navigating financing options tailored to women-owned businesses. Speakers and panelists, including representatives from government agencies, financial institutions, and successful women entrepreneurs, highlighted the unique challenges that women face in securing capital and discussed strategies for overcoming them. Key topics included alternative lending sources, such as CDFIs, venture capital, and SBA-backed loans, as well as ways to leverage new state and federal programs designed to support women entrepreneurs. Attendees benefited from actionable advice on building strong financial profiles, preparing for investor pitches, and establishing networks for business growth. Breakout sessions offered practical workshops on financial literacy, credit building, and investment readiness, empowering participants with tools to make informed financial decisions and seek the capital necessary to grow their businesses. The convening also underscored the importance of mentorship and peer support, providing a platform for women to share their experiences, challenges, and successes.
