Tubby's Taste is a boldly flavored Jamaican-inspired, Black woman-owned vegan nut- and soy-free cookie company based in Chicago with roots in Miami. Each cookie tells a story inspired by my Jamaican-American roots! Growing up in Miami, I was surrounded by unique fruits, foods, and flavors, and these unique experiences and traditions my family held, inform the bold and refreshing flavors we celebrate in our cookies. Being on a tv show is one thing. You think you know what the impact will be. Sales, connections, a way to share your message with the masses. But what I didn't expect was to connect with my fellow competitors in a way where now I have more lifelong friends! I just couldn’t begin to imagine the amazing friendships and impact that meeting the crew and our amazing fellow competitors would have on me! This year— although a really tough one, was made brighter and better because of my experience on the show. From a kitchen in Miami with my mom, aunt, and grandmother asking me to cut parchment paper and sift flour when all I wanted to do was watch Nickelodeon— to 21 grocery store doors and counting, the best online customers, and amazing corporate gift partners— to all that we have in store for the future! I'm proud of where I've come from and where Tubby's Taste is going in the future, with the right support in place. Thank you for your support thus far!
